Louisiana Museum of Modern Art has gained a reputation as a museum in touch with the zeitgeist of the contemporary art world all the while never neglecting the obvious and established names that draw in the crowds.
The museum is located by the Øresund coast 35 km north of Copenhagen. With a great number of exhibitions of mainly modern and contemporary art the museum has become well known throughout the international art world.
The large park offers ideal opportunities to experience the museum’s collection of sculptures, while indoors find the great collection of the 20th century’s most significant artists.
