In Louisiana’s Hall Gallery you are invited to take a closer look – and thourougly enjoy – works of art that stem from one of the major paths taken by artists – not only in the 20th century and onwards – namely experimentation.
A talking pile of gravel. Red noses on dignified pictures of upstanding citizens. A car coming apart at the seams. Potatoes running wild… Things are all topsy-turvy and merry go round in this presentation of works from the museum collection called Dr. Metabolistys meets Cornelius Coot.
The exhibition presents works by Hans Peter Feldmann, Jonathan Meese, Sigurdur Gudmundsson and Erwin Wurm, the duo Fischli & Weiss and the couple Anna and Bernhard Blume among others.
