This is a Meat City
28 Sep 202110 okt 2021

In the exhibition This is a Meat City, art will serve as an everyday feature in the former meatpacking district. Nine artists will exhibit a selection of their works in various settings, including restaurants, supermarkets, a pickle and salad factory and an office block – you name it. As an element in the public environment of Kødbyen, exhibited in new, surprising locations and in new, surprising ways, the art works will provide visitors with a highly unusual experience.

The nine artists featured in this extraordinary exhibition include Kasper Hesselbjerg, Mia Edelgart and Steffen Jørgensen, all of who have had residencies at Art Hub. The other six are Gro Sarauw, Adam Khalil and Thuy-Han Nguyen-Chi, currently in residence at Art Hub, and Linda Lamignan, Marie Munk and Jens Settergren, currently taking part in the Bikubenfonden Residency-to-go programme. The exhibition will thus present works by a small, but broad spectrum of young, talented artists from both Denmark and abroad in the context of Art Hub’s local neighbourhood.

All you have to do to enjoy the exhibition is to explore Kødbyen. But Art Hub can also provide you with information about the various exhibition venues. (Available Monday to Friday between 10.00 am and 3.00 pm)

You can view the works during the opening hours of the respective businesses.
