Grønningen

Grønningen’s exhibition at Den Frie is an opportunity to experience a wide selection of different artists in an open frame not based on any overall them or specific agenda and therefore with an increased attention on individual ideas and working methods.

The guest artists this year are Peter Linde Busk participating with a monumental wall of combined images and textualities, Rasmus Nilausen exhibiting new paintings, and Lilibeth Cuenca Rasmussen that shows a new performance created for the situation. Grønningen was founded in 1915 as a collective association of artists. Since then it has developed in exhibitions in continous dialogue with history, the present and the way of the world. In the actual exhibition a space is created for unconscious synergies between works and positions that are unplanned and that takes place in the moment.

The following permanent members of Grønningen will be exhibiting: Poul Agger, Merete Barker, Katja Bjørn, Peter Bonnén, Peter Brandes, Stig Brøgger, Morten Buch, Ronald Burns, Ruth Campau, Eva Steen Christensen, Viera Collaro, Anette Harboe Flensburg, Leonard Forslund, Erik A. Frandsen, Mads Gamdrup, Hjördis Haack, Ib Monrad Hansen, Nicolai Howalt, Kristofer Hultenberg, Poul Janus Ipsen, Astrid Kruse Jensen, Kirsten Justesen, Anita Jørgensen, Eske Kath, Eva Koch, Karin Lorentzen, Lise Malinovsky, Søren Martinsen, Michael Mørk, Mie Mørkeberg, Tina Maria Nielsen, Hans Pauli Olsen, Trine Søndergaard, Arne Haugen Sørensen, Jørgen Haugen Sørensen, Jette Thyssen, and Elisabeth Toubro.
