‘Humans have always dreamed of flying. Today that dream has become a nightmare. What if we could fly differently?’ – Tomás Saraceno.
In January 2020, the fuel-free hot air balloon Aerocene Pacha flew for the first time and lifted a person up to the sky with a safe landing using only the sun and the air we breathe.
The hot air balloon flies without fossil fuel, batteries, lithium, solar panels, helium, hydrogen, and carbon emissions, marking the most sustainable human flight in the history of aviation.
Fly with Aerocene Pacha is part of the global art project CONNECT, BTS, curated by Daehyung Lee.
Proceeds from this screening go to the Fundación Ambiente y Recursos Naturales (FARN), a non-profit that connects with communities in northern Argentina working to maintain biodiversity in the region.
